About The Unheard Forum

After observing my grandpa decline with severe dementia, it dawned on me that I really didn't know much about the disabilities affecting millions; I went down the journalist rabbit hole investigating just how much a disability could affect a person's life trajectory. I learned that children with disabilities must go through the special education system. After conversations with countless experienced professionals, I began to see the obvious flaws within this system----- issues that often leave children without the support they need to thrive. These problems are not only theoretical; they have real consequences on families' lives. The Unheard Forum extends beyond just this issue, though. It highlights the marginalized voices within other areas—immigrants with unfulfilled American dreams, individuals struggling with mental health, and others whose stories are often overlooked.

Welcome to The Unheard Forum, a podcast where I will investigate and share the voices of the marginalized. Every episode serves a different purpose, whether it's providing background information, offering a new perspective, or sharing a personal story. However, each contributes to the empowerment of disenfranchised voices and your understanding of a group's challenges. Through candid interviews and conversations, tune in to learn about problems you didn’t even know existed.

Every episode of The Unheard Forum is executed completely by me. I produce, record, and edit the episodes for you to enjoy, with the input of my wonderful guests.
